Mending Treasures – Framed
$300.00
The inspiration for this piece was an old quilt handed down through a couple of generations and used by all the babies in the family. The teddy bear was a treasure of the artists children and the oil lamp was also handed down from family. It is always a practice of the artist to mend the things that tear — to at least try.
The artist set up a still life setting of all the subjects and photographed the setting for painting.
