I have loved art since I was a kid. I would always find drawing books and art supplies under the tree at Christmas and would go over and over them making art. I took art classes in high school and earned an emphasis in art while in college. But after college I somehow put my art aside and did not pursue it as a career or even as a main thing in my life. Every once in awhile, I might make a card or a bookmark for one of my kids but that was about as far as my art went.
Around 2016, I decided it was time to make time for art in my life again. I took several watercolor classes and then some drawing classes and that grew in to being a part of an art community. Now my art includes drawing with pen and ink, pencil, charcoal, as well as watercolor painting. It has been a great experience to explore portraiture, still life and landscape in all of these mediums. What a gift art is! I hope you enjoy my art as much as I enjoy creating it.
