Description
The Swartz family of Johnson County Indiana have shown their Farmall tractor at the fair for decades. This watercolor painting captures their tractor under the tent at the Johnson County fair in 2019. The original photo was taken by the artist, Pam Kidney. The yellow reflections in the red Farmall paint represent the bright spot that antique tractors bring to the fair every year. The tractor is a symbol of generations of steady work and commitment and the sturdiness that family farming represents in our country. It is inspiring that the farmer takes great pride in his tractor and treasures it.
